Its purpose is to inform you on how personal data is processed through the Local Routes app and website, as well as how we handle this information. Rest assured, the gathering and processing of personal data via Local Routes adheres to the applicable laws, regulations and standards and we strive to comply with our legal obligations . We use Your Personal data to provide and improve Local Routes services/products (”Service”). By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Statement. Data that we collect/process

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us. Furthermore, we collect and process data that is required for the provision of our Service and data generated as a result of Services usage by You. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personal information that can be used to contact or identify You and facilitate the provision of Our Service. Therefore, we collect personal information provided to us by you, payment data, application data (Local Routes App)


Personal information provided by you. Personal data may include, but is not limited to:
- First name and last name - Email address - Address - Phone number - Date of birth - Nationality - Language - Username - Passwords - Bank account details/IBAN - Usage data Regarding sensitive data. We do not process sensitive data.

Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number, and the security code associated with your payment instrument, plus billing information used to send you an invoice if you are a paying user . We utilize a third-party payment service provider, Stripe, to process payments securely. All payment data is stored by Stripe and Local Routes app??? . Application Data. If you use our application(s), we also may collect the following information if you choose to provide us with access or permission: - Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application(s). If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings; - Pictures and other information from your Device's camera and photo library; - Other input information/text and/or other formats that you may generate within the app. - Information regarding your location, either directly and/or inferred based on your in-app content. - Other user content: Users may upload information, including but not limited to, travel recommendations, reviews, photos, and other user-generated content. This content may contain personal information and will be used as described in this Privacy Statement. Children's data. Our Services are not addressed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with personal data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 18 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information immediately from Our servers . The data We collect/process is primarily needed to facilitate the provision of Our Services to You, to maintain the security and operation of our application(s), for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. The information may be uploaded to the Company's servers and/or a Service Provider's server or it may be simply stored on Your device . We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with the law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent. No automated decision-making. We do not perform automated decision-making, including profiling, as referred to in Article 22 GDPR.

In case you should disagree with the processing of your personal data on the basis of the above mentioned legitimate interest, you have the right to object. - Consent. In some cases, we may rely on your consent to process your personal data. Where we rely on consent, we will obtain your explicit consent before processing your personal data for the specified purposes, and you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Depending on the specific processing activity this will be either opt-in consent or soft opt-in consent .

Data sharing and used tools

Local Routes uses other parties (third-party service providers) and tools to provide its Services. We may share your personal data with trusted third-party service providers, such as Stripe for payment processing and Supabase, to facilitate the provision of Services. These third parties are required to process your personal data in accordance with our instructions and in line with our Privacy Statement and applicable data protection laws.

We may also share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company; and also with business partners to offer You certain products, services or promotions .
Additionally, we may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose with Your consent. Be aware, when you share personal information (for example, by posting comments, contributions, or other content to the Services) or otherwise interact with public areas of the Services, such personal information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly made available outside the Services in perpetuity. Similarly, other users will be able to view descriptions of your activity, communicate with you within our Services, and view your profile. Data Retention

Local Routes minimizes the personal data it processes as much as possible. We will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Statement and/or to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. We will remove your personal information when you request it and when it is no longer required to perform any of our services. However the law may oblige us to keep your data longer.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
